Prepared for an emergency – fire brigade and evacuation drill successfully carried out

On 4 November 2024, an evacuation drill was carried out at our facility in collaboration with the local Heitersheim fire brigade. This exercise is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the highest safety standards. The exercise allows processes and response times to be tested and weak points to be identified and eliminated.

Procedure of the exercise:

1. Alerting and arrival of the fire brigade: After the house alarm was triggered at 18:55, the fire brigade was on site after a short time.
2. Simulated hazardous situation: A fire was detected on the first floor and a missing person was to be rescued.
3. Firefighting and rescuing people: The fire brigade started fighting the fire via our risers and was able to successfully bring the missing person to safety via the stairwell.

The exercise was a success and provided valuable insights for future operations. We would like to thank the fire brigade Heitersheim for their cooperation and commitment.
